Song of the Day: Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People
I was listening to my Pandora radio and I came across this song that I hear every morning while on my way to class. I usually listen it once or twice but I never actually open the app on my phone to see what the name of the song is. So after a while i'd start listening to the unique sounds that come from the song so I could catch the name of the song, and finally I found out what the song is. "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People, I recommend listening to it on Youtube or possibly make a radio station on Pandora to find other songs just like it.

Movie Review: Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides
This weekend I finally decided to watch a movie that was worthy of a review. Sure, I may only be a small town kid that rarely watches movies, but I know how to differentiate a good movie from a bad one.
Captain Jack Sparrow returns to bring a new story into the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise when him and a group of pirates set off to find the fountain of youth.Similar to their previous movies, Jack acts as the pirate who can't take things seriously half of the time.
The movie itself is full of action scenes and mainly revolves around Johnny Depp's role as Jack Sparrow, mainly using the basis from the jokes that they had used in previous movies. The story was probably the least of your worries, the point of it was there was an excuse for Jack to go off on a ship and goof off with monkeys and such. The 3D effect was also not needed, after a few minutes a viewer could easily forget that they were watching the movie in 3D anymore.
So out of 10 stars, I give this movie a 7.5. Overall the movie was fun to watch, but if you're going to watch it just to see what the pirates do next you might as well some of the other movies such as the 2nd one. This movie's purpose was to bring another adventure in place for action and character development, not to change the course of the entire story itself.

Radio? What?
One of the best places that I get to listen to new alternative songs is sort of old school. I actually try and find some time to listen to the radio every once in a while. 94.7 FM Alternative Portland always has a wide collection of indie, house, alternative rock and even some underground rap to show every morning and afternoon. I highly suggest listening to it whenever you have the chance, so click either of the links to start listening to classics and new releases. 94.7 FM.

Blog Topic
I added the whole "Game" concept into my blog, I think this would've added a more appealing review of media out there today.I don't play many 1st person shooters, so don't expect me to be talking about the new Call of Duty that comes out and such. But yeah, I enjoy many other types of videogames. I haven't been posting too much on here because I've been pretty busy, so I'll try and catch up with all the posts.
P.S. Sorry that I still haven't reviewed a movie yet, I've been trying to get my Netflix account up and running again. So I should be able to come up with a few good reviews next week.

Game Overview: Portal 2
When I was in 5th grade, I saw this advertisement for a game that looked unique to any other game I have ever played before. To be able to mess around with space/time, creating wormholes for practical use, and in the end being able to stop in evil robot that refuses to give you the cake. I immediately fell in love with Portal.
It's 2011 and the newest installment of Portal by Valve came out not so long ago, and it surely made an impact on the gaming community. With the same concept but better gaming components, Portal 2 was made to impress and be enjoyed by many. All I need is a new video card and i'll be enjoying the greatest game of 2011.

Purpose Of Blog
So, you may be asking yourself, "why should I follow this guy's blog?" Well, I don't exactly have a straight answer for that. What I do have is an opinion and the will to share some of those opinions with online. For instance, i'll be sharing my thoughts on some indie bands, house (electronic or dubstep) music groups, and maybe even some rap. One particular band i'll be talking about is Modest Mouse (seen to the right).
Along with all the music that I enjoy on a daily basis will be some movies that I've seen in the past or am eager to see in the summer or later years.I enjoy a wide variety of films, so make sure to follow the blog to find out what my opinions are for some of your favorite movies.
So yeah, stick around if you're interested in seeing what's on my mind. This blog might get personal, but surely won't be a diary. I'll also do my hardest to keep entries coming in, maybe 1 entry every day.

Song of The day
Wow, so today while I was in Physics class, I had my Pandora app playing music in my "The XX" radio. I heard this song, the song that I've been playing on repeat over and over I downloaded on iTunes over and over.
The song is called "Two Weeks" by Grizzly Bear, and I highly reccomend that you go listen to it the moment you find the chance. With the outstanding hormony by the backup singers, the unique sound of Ed Droste's (lead singer) voice, and along with the catchy sounds of the piano throughout the song.
It surely is an enjoyable tune that one can listen to whenever you're in the mood to have that one song stuck in your head but yet you can't figure out the specific lyrics too. Trust me, get an iTunes card and download "Two Weeks" by Grizzly Bear.
